I went out to check the birds and Buffy was somehow locked in the crate, with a shell-less egg in there. Not sure who laid it, Blue laid this morning and as far as I know, Buffy is in henopause. Although her comb has healed and perked up recently...hard to say without seeing any shell color.

Also, not only is Nosy Posy a boy, he is a good dancer. He doesn't know what to do when the girl says his dance is cool though. View attachment 4143308

Hackles and saddles.

He wanted to snuggle! He wanted up on my shoulder! He then POOPED all down my arm and chuckled about it!!!
Oh. He's stunning!

I showed the pics to the breeder and he said "well if you don't want to keep him I would love him back. He's gorgeous." So little man will be moving across state with Marble whenever we get our schedules lined up. How exciting for him!

Spotted on Facebook, do you think this tractor is secure enough? I feel like a weasel might still smooosh it's way in somehow...

It's been a few days so let me tell you what has been happening to the chickens. But first.
Caturday Saturday

Oh wait. I already showed this photo. Well I have a lot of photos of this kitty but they all seem to be the same that you have all already saw them.
Chicks Update
Poor Blondie has not been feeling good yesterday, even today. Yesterday, when it was about to rain, Old Woman picked her up to put her in the coop and she vomited. She didn't vomit today but it was just water. Old Woman suspected that the watermelon could've been the reason. Raven looks fine. She gave her electrolyte water (which you can find in a packet) and gave her some food. Blondie is feeling slightly better today but not 100%.

She looks like that because she was drinking water.

Anyways, I don't have pictures from today unfortunately but Raven was just too energetic and didn't care about her sick friend. She kept moving around in the little box and flapping her wings, hitting her. That's how it is being a little chick. I'll try to get a photo of them in the box tomorrow.

With that amount of blades and other various sharp objects, I'm sure it is so secure, a hawk wouldn't dare to approach. This is the kind of house (well chicken coop) that instead of "Beware of Dog" (well crazy chicken/rooster), it would be "Beware of Sharp Objects".
