I put a poultice on Muffy last night and then went to give her a 1/2 aspirin, because I had just given her some mealworms in my hand so I figured she would gobble up the half aspirin also - yep she did. She gave me the stink eye though, so I gave her more meal worms to make her happy hahahaha!
I don’t like talking poultice on byc. I don’t like talking poultice’s in church either. It’s not proper for anyone to be talking poultice in any forum other than government meetings.

Oh you said poultice, not politics, sorry, my bad.

I just checked and still 1 chick. No signs of other pips.

They are on their own for the next 12 hours. Have to head to work and Saturday is the long day as all the heavy cleaning also needs to be done tonight after closing.
I am sure the chick will be fine. Are the eggs still viable?

Gosh can't wait for some photos! Have a good day at work, be safe.

I was hoping to catch the 310 to Yuma but I missed it. :th
Looks like I might have to fly there instead.

Oooo - maybe I'll watch that movie this afternoon, while sitting on my lawnchair watching the chooks - magic of modern technology - The Internet!

I have fond memories of Yuma having visited many times, seems everyone there has chickens!

A day late but a Fluffy Butt is always good 😊 what is that pattern on her dark feathers? It almost looks like an echo of barring or lacing maybe? 🤔

We put this together and the kids are having a blast with it, summer fun! It’s now in its final place and swings out across the creek bed. I also cleared out a bunch of the weeds around it. This pic was before all that. My little test subject was a happy helper.
