I am using pine shavings for the nest boxes right now but it can get so dusty and messy! I'd like to try these liners out to make it a bit easier to find the eggs and easier to clean up when they make a mess of it.

I tried them in my girl's nest boxes, and they were kicked out laying in the middle of the floor by that afternoon. I then tried putting them back in with straw on top, I made a nice cushy "bowl" shape. Same results! I tried them again, under wood flakes, they did it again! With a flock block & hanging cabbage to peck at & a xylophone to play, I don't think they're bored or being bratty, for whatever reason they just didn't like the liners. They have a paper backing, maybe my hens didn't care for that...but I don't know & they're not talking LOL. You may have better luck than I did, but we are back to wood flakes & straw, I press it in make a slight bowl shape and it stays like that in the nest boxes for quite awhile so I collect nice clean eggs.
