Currently keep my feed in plastic trash can, inside a steel tub, on 1 foot raised playhouse porch, and don't have any problems. Don't have a rat problem where I'm at, field mice but the roaming cats take care of them pretty good. Now I do have a frog problem, they love our little goldfish pond View attachment 2338985

If you want to keep the frogs out, then you can try this! It has peppermint essential oils in it, and supposedly frogs hate that. Cute pond!

I'm dreading winter and I'm not very prepared. I really want this heated water bowl to make life easier for me and the chickens! Last winter was.....ugh!! Terrible.
