Her majesty, Queen Scooby. She certainly acts like it. She is now eight years old and is still the top chicken and has been for the past six years! She even ranks higher than the rooster and flaps her wings and shouts at him when he tries to mount her or do something she doesn't like!

She’s looking superb for her age! She looks like a boss hen for sure

I’m not sure when I should next do another check to see if eggs are fertilised

I’ve always been cracking them to check nearly every day. They never went to waste though, either my dog ate them or they went back to the chickens.

With how things are lately, eggs have been in high demand and when I know people are needing eggs, I don’t want to keep ‘wasting’ them.

Here’s the smallest egg I got today, I’m going to keep weighing them everyday and keep a record of the smallest I get!

That’s a great size for a Bantam egg but I want smaller

I’ll finally be able to start eating our eggs again this weekend. The vet said that she still eats her eggs when they’re on medication
I’ve just been feeding their eggs back to them...

Eggs are in high demand here too.. I haven’t seen any in the shops this past few days.
