the towns are all empty now, there’s hardly anyone walking around.. it’s weird.

It is so very weird... it’s like hurricane Katrina all over again... armed forces in the stores and whatnot.. it’s crazy!

Special Delivery! My hubs picked them up from the post office for me!
Cross your fingers that these ones are a little more hardy! This time I found the grogel in the box and put it on top of the feed and a bit by the waterer to help them go to both places. I can't figure out if they are getting chilled or too hot or something else and that's why everyone is getting pasty butt.

Planted some primroses to brighten the cottage garden up a bit. I also planted 100 Sunflower seeds that I got from the flower heads from last years ones.
i don’t think the garden nursery will be open for a few months so I’m going to be taking a lot of cuttings and planting a lot of seeds this year. I was planning on planting a hedge around the cottage garden but I don’t think I’ll be able to do that this year unless I find a good hedge plant that would be easy to grow from cuttings... maybe hawthorn... I was going to go for something ever green though...

Got the succulents back out after winter. They’re hardier than I thought they’d be, the ones I left out on the patio have survived and multiplied.

The collage I’m going to in the north might be open this Friday but after that they are closed, hopefully it is open so I can find out what I can do at home.
Celebrated St Patrick’s day with close family. Got a lovely Chinese and a lovely pizza and a few bags of chips
Everyone kept to themselves, no hugging, hand shaking etc

saw some lovely videos of people out dancing to Irish music on the streets.
all Parades were cancelled.

the people at the till in the shops are wearing gloves here. The big super markets have guards to stop people from panic buying.

I have to agree with hatchery attitude, the ones I just got are kinda peckish. The buffs I got from breeder are seriously the sweetest things! No not the best layers but they're so pretty and sweet!

My clean legged hens tend to be more feisty and anything with Rhode Island Red in it tends to be very feisty as well. Even my RIR x Brahma mixed hen has a bit of the RIR sass
