Been a busy bee today! This morning got kids squared away with working on chores and school work :ya
Just got done digging a small wide trench around most of the area we plan to make into chick corralling area. :gig some pics of the area (12ft x 13ft):

We'll be putting that skirting on next and framing out the door.

Large flock sending some attitude towards me for "bothering" them!

The two I'm holding up are my favs in this group, one of the EEs and my one partridge Cochin.

Video of them being silly:

You have been busy...it looks fantastic! Your chicks are so cute! :)

My chicks spent their first night in the finished coop and they seemed to do just fine! Here they are enjoying their morning mash, while I sat on the floor to get them used to my presence!

The new red paint doesn't match...oh well! I can open the nesting box to check on them without opening the main door! Keeps the heat in and the cold out!

It's not a very winning situation for finding avian vets anywhere I guess ....

Yes, i'm in the same situation!
I'm noticing some strange thing with my chickens in these days like undigested food in the poop and it's very disquieting this situation in this bad period :hmm I really hope all goes well and tomorrow i'll post in the other section to figure out what's happening.. :fl
