The OE baby is slowly getting fluffy, it looks weakish and sleeping a lot so i'm keeping it in the incubator for now, it's still a little wet anyways, plus i'm hoping having it still in there will still help encourage the other two to hatch!

Hello and welcome to my chat thread 🐔👋
I’m making another one of these because the last one Went a bit silent and I was starting to talk to myself... Am I really that boring?? 😬 😂

Allow me to introduce myself.
I live in Ireland.
I have 30 chickens, 27 Brahmas, blue buff columbian, golden partridge, blue partridge and lemon Pyle are their colours, I could go through them all individually but I wouldn’t want to bore you..,1 RIR, 1 buff Orpington and 1 buff Orpington mix.
only had around 10 chickens at the beginning of last year but I became a bit of a Hatchaholic.. it was around 50 at one stage ...
The plan was to breed them but they ended up getting a respiratory illness so now I’ve decided to keep them as a closed flock. Which is kinda what I was going to do anyways because no one was buying the roosters and I just had so many.
15 ducks, the colours are magpie, Rouen, khaki and a few mixed. 10 Guineas, 2 cocker dogs, 2 rabbits 2 cats View attachment 2041209

I like to grow sunflowers every year because they are beautiful plants, they’re great for wildlife and they put a smile on everyone’s face.

That’s awful. Sorry for your loss:hugs
I hope you find what’s getting them

We had a fox problem with the ducks a few weeks ago. They were wandering off around the fields and foxes were getting them.

Thank you... It was an awful loss but so glad to have some of his babies here to love on! They're so cute!!!

This is chickie #9... Almost a chickie dalmatian! So cute and extra fluffy!

Dealing with school stuff that makes me wanna turn my back on the school system, so just loving on the babies right now.

And apparently it's nap time and nap time means drop where you stand.... I can get on board with that!!!

They are so sweet! I can't wait to see how they color out! :love

I did something that I never thought I would do...I dropped the school system and homeschooled my children until we were able to send them to a private high school! There is so much support out there for homeschooling...you don't have to go it alone! :)

Oh I know we did homeschool for two years when I figured out my oldest is SPED, the school didn't even want to test him but I mentioned a few laws and doors opened and if I'm in the school's I get a lot of extra help.... When the school actually follows through. It's a fight every year. I'm coming to terms that my oldest may not be able to live on his own but I hurt for him. Specially right now with schooling only online which makes him feel stupid as he can't read. But we're slowly working on it.

And I can't wait to see what the babies feather out as too!!! The one with red stripes has wing feathers started and they're white with redish tan mixed in! I'll take more pics later this week. :)

That makes it extra difficult! I have no confidence in our public school system it is broken and rigged with a not so good agenda. My oldest is on the opposite end of the spectrum, he's to smart and that can sometimes come with it's own issues! He's not the best socially and he still lives at home! He does work and has a lot of responsibility with his job, we just don't think that he will ever be able to be out on his own, he went through kind of a hard time & never fully regained his confidence! He can be very caring and is also very protective, especially towards his younger sister & brother, but sometimes he reminds me of a 5 year old instead of a 35 year old, he's so stubborn, only he was easier to deal with when he was 5...lol! All we can do is love them and support them the best we can and know that some days they will be harder to deal with than others, but they are still ours and we will always love them! 💞

Exactly! Your oldest sounds like my middle kiddo. Way too smart but because of social awkward ness he wastes his smarts. Then my youngest is too cute for his own good! On top of that he's my hubs mini me, perfectionist and stubborn!!

This weekend the kiddos are going to hang out with my parents so hopefully they can destress and shake off this crazy school year! And hopefully me too....
