The silkies I have to hold onto anyhow since they're practically impossible to sex before the swap so I'm planning to just take any that absolutely scream male then.Then it is more likely that you have two males.
I just don't know enough about that color and that breed, so I would keep it for now and see how it develops. But that's partly because I like to see what happens.
But I don't know how desperate you are to reduce the total number of chicks by removing the less-good ones, so you may not want to keep "maybes" around.
I'm not necessarily desperate but it's easier to decide who to not start cuddling. The barred are nice because they're easy to sex early and I know i only need girls so I can just not mind the males besides to clean them. The frizzles are the opposite though since I actually need a boy so I'm hoping I can get a decent amount for the girls I end up with at least
