I know a bag of chick starter seems like an odd gift idea, but seriously I can't get in store. Not in the 50lb bags or even 25lb ones, anyway. So, yeah the security of knowing my chicks have enough to eat would be a great gift.

I live in a sunny area with hardly any rain. My chickens need a place to go to get out of the sun, so I like to set up areas covered with shade cloth. I have an old crib I need to turn on it's side and cover.

Alright, so on the list so far is a chicken leash, chicken helmet, chicken sign and mealworms! (Each of my posts for this thread have a little story on them, so check them out or this might not make sense!) Hopefully I'm not missing any items. Anyways, as I recall, I fed them mealworms! Now they're all energetic and they wanna go on a walk again, but wow am I tired! So this would be the perfect product; a chicken playset! The chickens can play Fur Elise on the xylophone or something, idk. They are pretty energetic so they'll come up with a song. I'll stick some mealworms onto the xylophone so when they peck at it, they'll play a song! After they do that, they'll trot over to the mirror to make sure they don't have any crumbs on their beak. They gotta make sure they look the best that they can! As for that ball of confetti, that'll go into their sleeping headquarters. While us humans are asleep, they can have a pretend disco party! Maybe I'll stick a few mealworms to keep 'em peckin'. They'd have lots of fun!

With the horrible wood price hike a couple months ago, I thought it best to purchase a prefabricated coop for my bantam chicks. I actually really liked it, but it definitely needs to be modified and that run is NOT adequate as they get older. I might buy one again one day for breeding my d'uccle pullets

I buy them for grow out coops. They keep the chicks separate while allowing them to be near the flock.

Alright, so my last item was that playset.. it had a mirror. You know what else that mirror could be useful for? Making sure they look the cutest and scariest they can for Halloween! When they put on these awesome costumes, I bet they'll scare the ducks away! They'll use that mirror to make sure their hats are on at the right angle, and that the scarf looks scary.

This product is perfect for the month of October. It's the cheapest its been in 30 days, so I'll save 10%! 9 dollars for a scary chicken isn't too bad lol.
