I am confused, I thought some of the chicks that have hatched out are purple pieds. As far as I can tell they are hens, is this not genetically possible?

Don't get confused, your White cock is either Purple or split Purple, the evidence is the fact you have Purple hen chicks. If he was not carrying Purple you would have no Purple chicks. Those two parents can also make Purple males as well.

I am thrilled to hear that! I had a feeling she was different than the other purple girls.

As far as I understand Silver Pied is a combination of white, pied and the white eye genes which make the bird mostly white. I was wondering if you could tell me your thoughts on some of my other birds

The one you listed as Purple SP cock is actually IBSP cock.
The one listed as DP/Purple cock is actually IB Pied / Purple cock. Possible WE.
The two hens are IBSP, not Pied.
Purple Pied hen is very nice, possible split WE.
The two Purple hens are Pied WE on the left and WE on the right.
The IB Pied is WE also.
The Pied hen is actually SP.
The Purple SP hen should be correct.

Wow I didn't realize I had SP birds! Thank you for clarifying this for me.

For WE, I know it will be apparent if the cocks have the gene when they grow out their trains. But how do you know which hens carry the gene?

You are correct! I have a pair that I hatched from shipped ebay eggs this fall. They are beautiful and very friendly. Hoping to hatch some more out!

Ooooo. I pretty much only work with the fatties. I have some Chocolate and Lavender Cuckoo now.

Very nice! In addition to the Englsih Orpingtons I also have LF cochins. I'm partial to the big, fluffy breeds as well

I'm the opposite. lol I had those and Seramas. I did have Sicilian Buttercups as a kid so I recently got those again. And then added some Araucana I couldn't pass up.
