A couple I took of our girls with summertime treats to help keep cool. Not entries, of course.

We have 3 large Sulcata tortoises between 17 and about 13 years old. That's our oldest, Chip. Amusingly, she's also the smallest at only about 80 pounds. Our big girl is over 100 and the male's about 90-95. They get along well with the chickens and on cold nights the chickens will go bunk in the tortoise shed (we need to keep the ground temp at 70F or above for them so we have heat lamps and ceramic heaters in the tortoise house). Everyone enjoys cool treats and mud puddles on hot summer days, so we make sure there's enough treats for everyone.
