Entry 1:
I made nesting boxes for a Trunk-or-Treat. I glued on some feathers and made paper straw.
Close up of marker drawings. (I knew I'd be adding some sort of nesting material, so I didn't bother making feet. LOL)
Here's my lavender Orpington, Darling & my bantam Orp, Cookie. (She was always broody)
Here's Precious, a sussex mix, & Mai Mai, our beautiful but dumb Silkie.
Other misc. pics..... just for fun
Here's the completed, decorated trunk on that cold, windy day. "Chick-or-Treat"
In the trunk we had a Chromebook playing the Techno Chicken song. Live chickens of course. About 10 4-H chicken related displays surrounded the entire car. I also made some newspaper corn stalks. Kids had to listen to a few poultry-themed "corny jokes" before receiving candy.
After dark it was sleeting, so the paper decorations had to be put inside the car.
Entry 3:
A broody Orpington. I have a little notebook for doddles. I try to give myself some time a few days a week to draw as a stress relief. This was just a sketch (with #2 pencil) I did while in a waiting room.
