Yay! Joy is a bonus chick!

They are all so adorable!

Enjoying the chicks so much! Took updated pics of each one today. I wrote their name in blue if I’m leaning towards boy, pink if I think girl, and green if I’m not sure!

By the way, Goose, the little black NN out of my olive egger is a satin frizzle! And Swan, the white NN out of the olive egger has silkied feathers, and isn’t frizzled but it has the funniest little curled feathers on both sides kind of at the “elbow.” Never seen that before. I’ll post an extra pic of each of them so you all can see.

I had one EE chick that had those flipped tips like that, he molted them out, but he went through a flippy phase. It was really cute!

More baby pics! The chicks moved to a larger brooder this week. Wow, growing out 20 chicks is a huge project. I’ve never had more than about 10 babies before. I wrote their names in blue or pink depending on what I *think* their gender may be. Some of them I was still unsure on so I picked the closest I could. I got comb pictures of each as well. Let me know if you think I got the genders wrong after looking at combs!
