21 days from when

I just put some Chicken eggs in incubator...Do i count today as day 1 or tomorrow as day one? Is it 21 days from when i put them in ?

Tomorrow will be day one. It takes a full 24 hours from the time you set them to be counted as a day. I had trouble with that too when I first started hatching. I always set my eggs on Friday morning. That way I know that my 18th day (lockdown) is always on a Tuesday and my hatch day is most always Friday. I have had some surprise me and hatch late on Thursday. And another time I had them hatch from Saturday (day 22) all the way through Tuesday morning (day 25).
