23rd day? Help! What should I do?

My hen has been firmly setting since evening of April 9th. On friday, the 21st day I went to the feed store and bot new babies to sneak under her. When I looked in the box as soon as I got home, there was a fully developed chick in half the shell, outside the nest. It felt cold and was not alive. I was soooo upset. Anyway, now it 's the 23rd day, just went out to see and nothing.... she's still sitting there on the other 4 eggs and the 4 new babies are under a light in my bathtub, growing and happy. How long do I wait? I hope the eggs hatch and I can still put the others under her or is it too late? HELP and thank you
