When I lay all 24 on their sides at lockdown I don't have enough room for all of them !

I had to stack 2 eggs on top of the others. Will this pose a problem ???

I guess I could try and candle them to see if there are any duds... But they are very dark BCM's and I don't own a true candeler....

advice ???

You could also hatch them upright in egg cartons (though if you have an automatic humidity pump that is tight space wise on top with large eggs), or just tilt a few slightly upright to make room for the other two right now, when the chicks start hatching they are going to bounce the other eggs all over the place anyhow.

They don't have to be directly of their sides. They can hatch upright just fine too. And like the previous person said, the hatched chicks always shuffle around the unhatched eggs in all directions anyways, and they still hatch fine.
