My lavender breeding pen is ready but the ladies need to "purify". They have been running with both my lavender roo and birchen EE roo. So here is what I have to offer.
6+ EE possibly purebred lavender ameraucana eggs
Your odds of hatching a purebred lavender is 25% ...here's the math.
50% chance my EE roo is the father
50% chance purebred lavender roo is the father
............eggs are coming from my split lavender ladies which means, if fathered by the lavender, half will be split lavender the other half will be visually lavender.
I have seen both roos mate these hens in the last few days.
If the resulting chick is black then consider it an EE (there is no way to tell if the chick is EE or Split lavender without further breeding)
If the resulting chick is Lavender then consider it your lucky day!!!
I cannot gaunantee any lavenders will hatch but there is a 25% chance.
Eggs were collect this week (Mon-Sat) and will be shipped Tuesday.
These are the actual eggs
