Have you looked for an antibotic?
What kind? Amoxycillin? We've got cat/dog amoxycillin if that's the kind needed. (Would it be okay to give it to a chicken?) It's liquid for oral use.

She'd probably hate me even worse if I put ice on her rear end...
It's not as swollen today. Maybe it was just because she had lots of the egg right there at the end??
She is doing much better - up, I think she ate some food. There are quite a few "puddles" of the stuff in the cage, so it looks like she's getting a lot of it out. I'll soak her again this afternoon.
