Possible vitamin deficient rooster not getting better.

Personally I had never heard of it before, I had only heard of wheat being sprayed for weevils from an old truck driver that used to drive wheat trucks, but she seemed to know a lot of info about it and seemed to be very disappointed in the feed companies. By commercial feed she was meaning bags of pelletised feed that anyone can buy as she now makes up her own feed. If I run into her again I will try to get more info off of her.

To me this just sounds like a conspiracy theory that's she in deep. I know other foods get sprayed like what you've mentioned. However, commercial chicken feed being sprayed for mice repellant that also causes side effects in chickens is illogical. Yeah, that's what I assumed you were mentioning. I'd be curious what else she says/claims. I'm also curious where she even gets that information.

That is where we differ a bit, I don't care where she gets her information from and with the amount of products that get recalled every year because they may kill or maim their customers means that logical or illogical doesn't even enter the equation for me as I saw it more as a "don't overlook what is right in front of you thing".
So now with the information that she gave me if I was trying to get to the bottom of a poultry issue or ailment I would send off a feed sample to be tested while the vet is doing their testing, just so that I could be thorough and if the test did show there was something in the feed that should not be in there then it would probably be helpful information for the vet as well.
