I put a small number of chicken eggs in my still air incubator on 3/21/10 and then some the next day. But none of them have hatched, they have fully blackened the egg exept the air sack so I cant see any movement and there is no sound but the were moving on day 7 and up ( untill it got to dark for me to see).

any advice

Temp has varied a little but stayed 95-100

Did you raise humidity for the last 3 days? If yes, then has your thermometer been checked for accurate temperature readings?

no I didn't raise humidity,

and I havent checked the accuarcy of the thermometer, it came with the incubator so I asumed it was accurate

Eek, that doesn't sound good!

You could try to raise humidity now and see if anything hatches, but it's bad news when they haven't hatched by day twenty-five... It's possible they got stuck to the inside of the egg and were unable to hatch. Unfortunately, they are likely dead, unless you hear peeping or see movement. Anyway, I would raise your humidity and see what happens. If nothing happens, I'd assume the worst and carefully open up the eggs to see what happened.

If you didn't raise humidity then the eggs could have a hard time hatching and breaking the membrane... maybe try to spray the eggs with a little water, don't drench them but maybe it might help...some else may be able to give you more advise...

So what happene? Did you open any of the eggs to see where in the scheme of things they quit?
