One more Christmas get-together today with extended family

My mother was Lithuanian, and grew up in an Eastern European area in PA. Her family kept the tree up for the Orthodox in the community, even though she was Catholic.

I went ahead and took down the tree today DS1 wanted it out of the way and living room rearranged to normal

I leave the tree up for the Orthodox Christmas, but don't celebrate on that day. This year, it may come down tomorrow, since the next available day would be the 11th or 12th, and that's pushing it for a live tree. No Orthodox living around here, anyway.

Sheesh. I leave lights and trees up all winter you guys run a tight schedule!
