Regardless of December being ten days away it's still at minimum ten days too early for Christmas stuff.

I bought the mini little dumb 3 things yesterday! I still don't know what to even get him.
I have a few things stashed at my brother's house for others too.

That's fine for what it's worth. My siblings have been practicing Christmas stuff on the piano. I just disapprove of decorating way before Christmas as is the case this year and the last two years ever since the sales have gotten earlier.

I'm usually finished with Christmas shopping by Thanksgiving, but that's because I mindfully spread it out. But decorations don't happen until after Thanksgiving, and the (real) tree doesn't go up until a week or so before Christmas. Our tradition is to keep it up until 3 Kings.

My family keeps it up until February 2 (Feast of the Purification of the Blessed Mother. I'm Catholic).

My mother was Lithuanian, and grew up in an Eastern European area in PA. Her family kept the tree up for the Orthodox in the community, even though she was Catholic.

I started listening to Christmas music yesterday at work

We will be visiting family next weekend so it will be December before we put up the tree
