$25 for a button quail?

I know manarc23 lives in PA as well, and from what she has said, there are not that many button breeders in that area. So it is all just a case of supply and demand. monarc told me that the person she had found wanted $50 for a pair, so I think $45 is a bargain! It all just depends on how many people there are that sell them in your area. I probably could get $5 at most for one here.

Shelly, I live closer to her than Monarch does, and I'm paying $2 per chick. I don't know, I just feel that it's silly to spend that much when you can have them shipped in for cheaper. It's like paying $99.99 for a ball python of unknown origin at the petstore when you can buy three for $110 shipped to your door from a breeder with a guarantee.

I'm kinda a guy...

last year I had about 20 adult button quail shipped to me through USPS express(I think) for about $40, I only paid shipping not for the quail themselves, they were rescues out of about 1000, but still I would bet you could get them for less and from a person more willing to help you out.

do you have a local auction that you could go to?? i know most of us kentuckyn's go to sano auction or some where else but i dont know your area soooo....... idk?

Hey Jackie,
Did you happen to get these through me? I know I shipped several different packages of them to CA when I did a rescue of 1000 of them a year and a half ago. I shipped 700 of them throughout the country. It was the hottest summer we have had in awhile and out of the 700 only 6 were lost to the heat. It was amazing! Shipping has gone up quite a bit since then though.
