Is the poster here just crazy or is there something about this chicken line that makes it worth thousands of dollars?

Are there other chicken lines that are worth this kind of dough? If so, why do people pay so much for them? Do they lay golden eggs?

I know lots of ppl who would pay money for top of the line stock and great breeding on game fowl. I don't know about this one.

I think he meant $2500 for the pair. That price is not that unusual for some lines of gamefowl used for illegal purposes (or legal depending on what country you live in). The "right" kind of people will likely recognize the name or the birds and he certainly is not going to go into a lengthy description for those who do not. Some of the finest gamefowl I have seen come from some of the worst of surroundings. Not necessarily filth but run down conditions and makeshift pens.
