27 cortunix hatched. 50 eggs left -pic heavy- Now 9 buttons hatched

I used clear packing tape on one of my buttons that just hatched. It seems to be working and the other chicks can't see it.

Well found 3 dead in the shell. 1 golden and 2 browns. Kinda upset about it but I am glad what I got for now. We will see what tomorrow brings

EVERY single hatching of my eggs,, the very LAST chick to hatch ALWAYS has a bum hip/leg/foot thingy to where they cant even stand,,,,,, EVERY hatch,, i need to start really watching, and see if its from 1 roo and hen, or just 1 roo,,,, he'll be suppah

Lol! I have another egg pipping. should be #24. He took off the tape so I am going to try again tomorrow.

It can also be caused by the chick taking too long to hatch, or I believe from the humidity as well.
