Five more days, and I get to candle!!

The first week always seems the longest to me, because I can't wait to see who's growing!!

just put 26 RIR's in bator yestherday morning, they should hatch on the 16th of feb, and have 36 that i candled last night that were on day 14, so they will hatch on the 2nd of feb. got two bators going at one time and will have a third one going next monday. good luck william

Our power went out at 8:00 am and didn't come back on until 5:30 pm!! I was upset at first, but I told my husband we aren't opening the 'bator to turn those eggs until the power comes back on!

Power came on, and I gave the 'bator time to come back up to temps and then turned the eggs. I couldn't resist a quick candling of ONE egg...AND I HAVE VEINING!

The 'bator temp got down to 80 and the humidity spiked to 60%, so I am doing some extra hard praying for these eggies!
