We had one chick that had pipped, but was stuck for over 20 hours. It was cheeping, but appeared to be exhausted, and had no real room to move or push. We chipped away the egg a bit in order to give it the ability to push open. (it was a really thick egg) The chick hatched fine and is doing well now.

Here is a video of it hatching:

I had 1 pip this am before work. 1 more pip at lunch. 1 more pip when I got home a little while ago. The first 2 it looks like the whole is a tiny bit bigger. I am sitting on my hands cause I don't want to get involved. After reading the post that it can take 24 hrs once they pip I feel a little better. Congrats on everyones progress!! To be continued...

It's day 20, and 3/9 eggs have hatched, all Silver Ameraucanas.

2 more have pipped...
The second one spent about 4 hours sitting with his butt in the shell. I was worried, but he got out on his own now.

. I'm not sure how the other 4 eggs are doing, but 3 were put in 18 hours later than the first. Admit is all the ones that hatched are a day early! I'm so glad everyone rales seem tone doing good!

My incubator is a mother hen, I can't see them hatching and that's probably good! Otherwise I'd be doing what everyone else is, staring at the eggs!

I'm jealous! I'm hoping one of the chicks I hatch this year will grow up to be a good broody. It would save me some stress - it has been a stormy spring, and every time I hear thunder, I am making plans for keeping my chicks and incubator warm if the power should go out...

(Thankfully, that has only happened once this spring, and I only had chicks - no eggs - which I was able to keep alive with Pyrex bowls of water warmed on the gas heating stove wrapped with towels...)

When is your broody due? How many eggs is she sitting on?
