Hit solid bedrock on 4 out of 5 post holes for the run. Can you say "jack hammer"?

Those are strawberries in the raised bed........ Notice they are covered with chicken wire to keep the girls out!!

6 Gold Comet pullets, 2 months old

They haven't figured the roosts out yet.........

Used half of an already existing 8' x 16' storage shed for the coop portion.

That's one ENORMOUS coop! INteresting too because the henhouse is so big in proportion to the run part....they have a lot more inside space than outside. Maybe they'll be "indoor" chickens?

Never seen nest boxes set up like that...kinda' neat. Anyhow, the coop looks great!

they will be indoor hens for sure with all that nice space to hang out hehe
