Hit solid bedrock on 4 out of 5 post holes for the run. Can you say "jack hammer"?

Those are strawberries in the raised bed........ Notice they are covered with chicken wire to keep the girls out!!

They haven't figured the roosts out yet.........

Used half of an already existing 8' x 16' storage shed for the coop portion.

That's one ENORMOUS coop! INteresting too because the henhouse is so big in proportion to the run part....they have a lot more inside space than outside. Maybe they'll be "indoor" chickens?

Heh - I wanted to buy a small outbuilding on an auction last year - 12x12, I think. DH said, "We'll see what it goes for." As the bidding was coming to a close at just over $500, I nudged him and he said, "No, I can build a lot nicer one than that and for less money!" Well, my new coop IS alot nicer....

Love your coop, BTW. It's so nice and bright inside!

I love the shed I wanna get the same thing but I cant afford it right now

they will be indoor hens for sure with all that nice space to hang out hehe
