2nd Annual Rocky Mountain Chickenstock May 4, 2013

Man, the closer chickenstock gets, the more irritated I get that I have to work again this year! I have so many stinking chickens here, I could bring a whole flock and then some! And I keep seeing people mention they are selling birds that catch my interest (yeah, like I need more birds!), then remembering I can't go!

Next thing up for sale at chickenstock: NN turken chicks and EE's from McMurray. All sexed female. The Turkens are mostly orange in color, there might be one black. Can't decide if I am keeping that one. The EE's are the fattest fluffiest things I have ever seen. Very cute!

I went through my birds this morning, here is what I still have to bring to Chickenstock that is not spoken for...
A few Turken chicks, mostly orange, a few of these fluffy EE's, and some black smooth and frizzle Ameraucana/Silkie chicks from blue eggs. (one frizzle spoken for by mo5c)
A Delaware pullet 11 months old, 1 Blue wheaten Ameraucana pullet 11 months old ( she has been broody), a Mottled Houdan 8 wk old male, a SLW 4 wk old, a Turken male 7 wk old (unless eveyander wants it first), a BTB/FBCM Marans cross hen that lays pretty speckled eggs, she actually looks a lot like a Welsummer and big black eyes, very sweet. She is about 1 yr old maybe a little less. If anybody wants anything let me know I can post pics if anyone wants to see anything. The Blue wheaten has some naked looking muffs lol she has been broody recently and been picked on a little. But she lays really pretty eggs and is a total sweetheart.

I will be at Chickenstock on Saturday. I am so stoked to see all the breeds. My wife thinks I'm a weirdo because I get so excited about chickens and hatching eggs. I am interested in some ring neck pheasant chicks if anyone has any. I PM'ed GameBirdsOnly in Riverside, UT, but I haven't heard back yet.

If he isn't coming to Chickenstock, could I beg someone form Utah that is coming up to pick them up on the way?

Aww I messed up this post, try again. If riverside is over there on the way from Logan to I-15 by Tremonton I could pick them up Maybe he could meet me at the gas station over there at the 4 way stop. I am leaving early around 7:45-8 am

Ya, Riverside is right on the freeway by Tremonton. When I hear form him, I will see what the situation is going to be. If you can pick them up, that would be super great. I will let you know. Thank you very much.

Ok so 2 of the chicks I am bringing up to sell (out of 8) are roosters, they are a SLW and a RIR, the rest look like pullets still.

HI Everyone. I am kinda late to the party, but I just wanted to let everyone that is coming to our adventure next weekend know that I have started
BBS Orpingtons chicks that are just about 2 months old, as well as new Orp chicks that are just a week old that I will be bringing for sale. There are also a few Lavenders in the mix. Can't wait to see you all there!
