"I don't think so..." Luke replied slowly, watching them closely.

The chain sound rang out again. Poisontooth looked back. Firefeather glanced at Adderfoot, who was unsure what to do. "Bloodstar's doing something," Adderfoot told Poisontooth. Firefeather wondered if she was calling them. They all turned back to the others.

"Steady now" Luke cautioned his patrol, watching the trees.

Bloodstar was in a tree, watching them.

Then Bloodstar came flying down from the trees, careful not to step into the light. the warriors dipped their heads respectfully to their leader. Her iron leg clearly visible, Bloodstar lifted her cool green gaze.

Maia trembled slightly, but Luke remained completely calm and unbothered. "Who are you?" He asked her as if she were no different then any other bird in the forest.

"Bloodstar. Leader of BlackFlock." She said, calmly. Her warriors lifted their heads and stood by her side.
