Well we locked down the incubator a day early.. I heard chirping so I locked it down last night.

Today we have one egg that has pipped & has zipped halfway around. We have another that has pipped. Looks like another good hatch coming.

I'll post pics later as they hatch..

Grats on keets. I just had 22 hatch, really early didn't even get into hatcher. Just started. Only 23 were fertile and only 1 failed to hatch. Mostly pearl greys but about 1/2 dz should be pearl whites.

Here is a pic of the babies in the incubator.. It is hard to get a clear picture with the high humidity..

They are just chilling...

P.S. I just finished my Guinea Coop & I will post about it later with pictures..

So far we have ended up with 14 Pearl Greys & 1 Lavender for 15 keets hatched out of 20 eggs.

Not bad at a 75% hatch rate.

I'll leave the incubator on while I am in the hospital for any late hatchers.

Here are the babies..

Here they are running around..

A closer shot..

Here they are eating some food..

All together..

Phil
