2week old Ducklings dying whats up!!! I am at a loss

Xke4 Ok, can I ask why not iceberg? Just wondeing. I will put a thermometer in there and see and YES I have a stuffed animal I can put in there that they can snuggle up with, that might help.

Just when you think you have it figured out, you learn new things!! Thanks everyone, I will let you know how it goes tonight. BTW, I am going home at lunch to take care of the thermometer and stuffed animal thingy!

Iceburg has no nutritional value.

Spinach, grass and romaine are good. I personally prefer the spinach leaves for my ducks and geese.

Very good, I see a trip to the store coming this afternoon! I have my grocery list now. Spinach, Romaine, brewers yeast, yogurt, and a little something for me. Thanks you all for the help and support. I knew you all would help me!

Update......

DD got to come home SCHOOL'S OUT!! WOOT

Anyway, I had her check the temp in the brooder and she said it was 88.9 on the floor of the brooder away from the light. Thankfully chilling is not the issue....We will try the different feeding method tonight and see how that works and no playing in the tub every night just as a treat every now and then....

The funny thing is, we have the goslings too and we have not had this issue with them.

See, you learn something more every day! Will I ever get it all down????

Ok been to the store at break time....They have quick yeast and yeast...which one is Brewers yeast or do we live too far in the boonies to have Brewers yeast!

AAAGGGHHH got the rest though!

Oh my, I was having THE same issue this Spring. I had ducks that were 2, 3, 4 weeks old just throw their heads back, kick a few times and be dead. I was doing everything right and STILL don't know what the issue was. I have NEVER had ducklings do that before this year. I'm still baffled when I think about it.
