Alright, here's my evidence that early chick looks/behavior are pretty much meaningless. All of these chicks are now grown so there is no doubt on gender:
Clark, EE male (non-stinky eyes, thin legs):
Gertrude, EE female (dino eyes, vocal, bold, thick legs, wide comb):
Hazel, EE female (dino eyes):
Pearl, EE female (dino eyes):
Delilah, Dominique female (very vocal, leader right up until the cockerel reached sexual maturity, and liked to stand tall with tail up and neck out from a young age):
