Don't know yet... I'm not an expert or anything near it. I'm thinking maybe hen, because I haven't seen/heard anything to suggest rooster. Sophie (still remains, until proven otherwise) legs have gotten dark, doesn't have a big comb, copper brown feathers only on the back of the neck.. Anybody have a better answer or able to agree with me?? She is just over 14 weeks old now..

Your's is a pullet, I see no wattle growth, or pink comb.

I ordered a FBCM pullet from a hatchery, & they accidentally sent me a cockerel. Gonna contact them tomorrow.

Just in case anyone is wondering, we are 10 weeks old now and still no waddle development and comb is a little brighter but hasn’t grown a lot either. I’m still thinking it’s a pullet.

Any updates? I have ten FBCM chicks that just turned 3 weeks old.

FBCMs can be very slow to mature. My cockerel hasn't really grown a lot, nor has his rooster plumage yet.
This is him at 10 weeks old.
