3 and a half week old chicks outside for a few hours each day?

Hello everyone, I am new to this forum and new to raising chickens. I've been reading and learning a lot and this forum has been so helpful. I do have a question regarding my three and a half week olds (6 chicks): it is currently 50-55 degrees outside and sunny. Is it alright to let them outside for an hour? I've been putting them out in their coop/the yard for an hour or two each day (lately it's been about 55 to 60 degrees in the daytime here in upstate NY) supervised under these temps? After, they always are returned to their indoor brooder with heat lamp. Any advice on if that's ok would be great, they love their little field trip to the yard each day.

It looks like they have a lot of feathers, so that makes me think they should be okay. The most important thing is to watch them for any signs they might be cold - huddling together, alarmed cheeping for a long time, etc. Just bring them inside if that happens!
