3 broody geese fighting over nest when eggs hatching

Sorry about your geese

Welcome to BYC!
I'm so sorry that the hatch went poorly.
I have broody chickens, I usually keep them inside the coop in a dog kennel. That keeps other hens from the nest and allows the broody hen to still be a member of the flock. I let my moms and chicks out the second or third day after hatching. Mine is a laid back flock so this may not work for everyone. Trial and error.
Best of luck!

Hello, and welcome to BYC. Geese have strong parental instincts and young birds especially can get carried away. I would let her mate back with her once all goslings are hatched and allow the flock access once the goslings are a week old or so. Monitor all integrations.
I don’t know for sure who Daddy is, I just let some in to see the goslings and one goose literally spread his wings and attacked a gosling. I think the eggs that are left are not going to hatch. I want to let them out so bad to explore the green grass and pond. The goslings will be a week old on Friday. I am off for 4 days to monitor like you said. I can’t believe how stressful this. And yes, they are all young, a year old
