3 Buff Orpington Hens need new home [4 years old] Located in Chicagoland west suburbs

Hey all -

We are moving one town over and unfortunately the town ordinances do not allow for backyard chickens. We have 3 healthy Buff Orpingtons that need a good home very soon. They're about 4 years old; two just finished their fall molting and they still lay occasionally. Pretty low maintenance personalities and are used to free-ranging in our yard. Also very cold-hardy as we do not heat our coop in winter. One of them is somewhat broody, so if you need a surrogate to hatch some eggs, she's your gal

Located in west suburbs of Chicago. I'll post some pictures later today.

There are many peeps in the Chicago area hanging there.
I really cant handle acquiring 3 hens, at this time,,,, since I put up my chickens in garage loft for the winter. If you did get some others to accept some, then I could probably handle 1 ,,, maybe 2. I only keep chickens as pets, and don't eat my pets. All my chickens live well into social security retirement
