3 day old chick with hard crop and very lethargic please help

i have a 3 day old chick who is standing up and sleeping and her crop feels very hard. earlier i removed alot of poop from her vent area and she has been pooping but not sure what else to do. she is also just chirping constantly. any help

is it drinking? chicks dehydrate fast- I would try to get liguid in-maybe try some plain yogurt- keep her warm, seperated for her own good and everyone elses-electrolyltes if you have them

Are you brooding chicks on paper towels or pine shavings? Is it possible the chick has eaten the wood shavings and the crop is impacted? Hold the yogurt you might get a sour crop. Try a bit of olive oil soaked bread and only water for a few hours and see if there is any change.

thank you for the advice i had seen that on another thread but wasnt sure if mine was to young for the olive oil

As tiny as they are an impacted crop could be fatal. All you can do is tlc. You could try a tiny gentle crop massage but if it is full of woodshavings becareful not to cause more internal damage.
