3 day old duckling can't poop prolapsed penis

I have a 3 day old duckling looks like it's peeing but can poop I looked to see if there's was a vent but I all I seen was to me his penis I need help because I don't know what to do at this point:/ very active and chipping and drinking just won't eat and won't poop if it is his penis can he still poop?! He backs up at trys and nothing happens

@casportpony have you ever seen this?

Can you put the lil one in some warm water maybe that will help seems putting them in water get the poop flowing. Might help with the prolapse too.

No, never seen that and not sure how I would treat it. I guess I would start by tring to get the penis back in. Your suggestion of a warm water soak might help too.

@countrygirl2513, is a vet an option? How is he today?

Try soaking him with warm water, while your at it try feeling what's wrong; if you feel any bumps or anything sticking out, and if you don't feel anything, I recommend going to the vet.

Vet around here is not an option unfortunately you can tell he need to go and can't

How is the little one doing today? did you try pushing the penis back in you can lube it up with prep H or coconut oil @countrygirl2513
