Glad to hear the 'lil one is getting a bit better. That it's made it this far is a good sign.

And that blue-kote deal made me chuckle a bit. It sounds like something I'd do. I mean it made sense. I'd done it if I had some handy. LOL, oh well live and learn.

Just a quick update-
The little chick has been moved back into the big brooder for 24 hrs. now and is doing fine. She is a bit smaller than the others, but otherwise is getting along fine. No more head bobbing that I can see, and no toe picking. YAY!
I actually had to sit there watching for a few minutes to pick her out of the crowd.

I have a guinea keet with some of these symptoms, like gasping for air, I don't have Olive Oil, is there another oil I could use to apply to bread for her???? I tried dropping water on her beak and she seemed to take it, but is still gasping???
