3 days, chicks haven't arrived

I got mine this afternoon and all are fine. Happily drinking sugar water and chirping away in the brooder.

At 12:00,I got a call from the distribution center an hour and a half from my house (the one my husband works at, of course it's his day off) letting me know that my babies were there and that I should make the drive rather than rely on them living until the a.m. truck. I am so thankful that the dock manager checked in on my babies and checked the hatch date and realized we were getting tight on time!
I picked them up, my sister rode with me, and we sat in the parking lot and watched them drink and eat for a good hour or so. I am so glad everyone is alive and feisty! One little one has a pasty butt, but I'm keeping up with the cleaning and truly I'm just glad to have them here.

I only lost one, I really hope it wasn't the rooster, the only one I ordered. They were incredibly disoriented, we're not out of the woods yet, there were a few that ran all around the brooder like they had all the energy in the world but there were some that fell over as well and took me a while to get them up and moving.
There is one in particular that I'm wrried about, she kept falling on her face and couldn't convince her to eat, I left her alone and she just layed sprawled out in the brooder sleeping, then I offered her some water before I left she took it eagerly and wasn't falling down anymore.

I ordered from cackle as well, my other orders from them I have never had a problem. I don't see how this could be a hatchery mistake though, the box was correctly marked.
Glad to hear that you guys got you're chicks safely! Thanks for the prayers too, they must have helped

I'm so glad you got them. I don't think it's the hatchery fault. Sometimes when I send out Priority mail it takes 4 days to get there and that's going to the same state I live in.
