Chickmate, I respectfully disagree. I have seen bad dogs who were taught respect and trained be highly aggressive. And maybe I did misunderstand what you said, but it sounds like you would have felt sympathy for the dog that attacked my friend's grandchild when my personal belief is that I would sooner destroy all the dogs on the whole planet than watch that baby get mauled. Guess my priorities are different as I don't care how "good" a dog is, if it is aggressive to what is mine, it deserves what it gets and no amount of "what if it had been trained, they were BAD owners!" will make me feel sympathy for a dog that attacks a person or an animal of mine.
