I'm trying to sell a breeding pair. I want to get rid of the roo but it would be easier to sell him with a female.

Yeh, everybody wants the hens

Yay! We sold the roo, he guy didn't want the hen though he got a red. I'm not sure why, but I'm not going to complain she's super sweet.

The rock should lay well, but I'm not familiar with hampshires, do they lay well?

Update: I've integrated my teenage australorps and my adult buff orpingtons. All getting along great. Except now the Aussies are sleeping in the nesting boxes. BOs on roosts but kiddos in boxes. How do I get them to stop?

I kept my pullets in a separate encloser for a while and slowly introduced them in with the big gals out in the yard until they were ready to eat layer feed they were separate at first than over time they became a flock.
