He's a roo. Almost 12 weeks now. Looking back at this picture I can now see the beginning of his tail feathers looking like a cockerel. He's still the most docile boy. Just love him.

Maybe you guys can help me ID my little chicken. This has been my friendly baby, a Lavender Americauna. I fear it's a rooster, it's 2 months old, and absolutely gorgeous. It did feather fast, like all the plumage was in before any of the other chicks, but this comb... It's definitely a bolder more dominant bird. I have a Cream Legbar that is supposed to be a pullet that is crowing... I feel like my bird life is a little upside down.
