Actually they seem to be boys. Or at least one started crowing.

It is possible I underestimated their age, but I was pretty sure...

With my black australorps, it was obvious in four weeks that two of my supposed "pullets" were actually boys. Granted, my experience is limited to my four black aus. but so far as I've seen, there's no mistaking little roos for little hens.



Guess which one is the boy!

As if their appearance wasn't proof enough, they acted like boys before any of the other chickens. They postured and challenged and scuffled more, and the hens never did put on such a fuss as the boys have. Just based on my own, limited experience, I think you have hens.
