3 month old chickens?

@joydix If he's still alive, he'll be back. I battled with one for a little over a month and lost 36 birds to him.

Contact any of the people listed for these shows, or attend them and talk to some breeders. The actual show may have some people with culls available.

https://www.poultryshowcentral.com/Blue_Bonnet_Classic.html (that one is this weekend!)

Be aware that there are at least two "chicken farms" in Texas that NO ONE recommends because they sell diseased birds. Anyone showing or selling at the links above will have had to have a valid PT test at least.

I have no idea if they sell old breeders or pullets, but Ideal Poultry in Cameron is also a good place to look. Getting an older (1-2 years usually) breeder hen wouldn't be a problem for cockerels, in fact, it might be better. Cockerels usually mature faster than pullets and they will relentlessly chase down anything that moves (even their brothers) if there's not a female that lays around. The older girls know how to teach them some manners.
