3 month old chicks dying suddenly

My name is Keira. We inherited a flock of 10 from a co-worker who was moving away. About 3 weeks into it, we decided we wanted to add chicks to grow our flock. Bought 14 chicks. Brooded then in our house until about 6 weeks old. Moved out to barn, and had in a wire dog crate. They have been fine until last night. We found 2 dead, thought maybe they strangled themselves in the wiring of the crate. Found 3 dead this morning, not sure why. Lost two more after putting them out this morning. It is a very hot sunny day, could they be suffering from heat? Also noticed bloody stools and my remaining 7 chicks have been acting lethargic. Any help is so greatly appreciated!

It might be coccid. Get some Corid it works fast but you can only give it to them if they haven’t been eating medicated feed. You can look up the dose.
