Hi - hope someone has a good idea what is happening and how to fix it. One of my Pomeranian goslings all of a sudden can't stand up today. I was able to examine her/him fairly well and there is no injury that I can see. She has no other symptoms and was walking first thing this morning when I let everyone out for breakfast---then a couple hours later the whole family was yelling and I went to see and the one gosling could not stand. When I approach her she will raise up slightly, balance on her wings and move a foot or two. I currenly have her sitting near a pool in the shade. ( I put her in the water but she wanted out right away). I have food and water where she can reach it and her "family" as well as most of my other geese are standing around talking to her. She has been very vocal with them and as I said doesn;'t seem to have any other symptoms. Any ideas would be sincerely appreciated.

Just to let everyone know -- she is doing better this morning, getting up and taking a few steps. After reading other posts about standing / walking problems I decided to try adding in a little more brewers yeast. -- I don't know if two meals is enough to help -- but something did. Thanks.

Great news and keep it up I think it's till 12 weeks since that seems to be the biggest growth spurt. Very happy for you.

Thanks Miss Lydia -- good to know about the 12 weeks also --- any problem that you know of going a few more weeks just to make sure?
Don't think there could be a problem I give Brewers yeast to all my flock in their feed from new hatchlings to my 9 year old drake [he was getting where he couldn't walk so good anymore] and he is walking better now that he has been on the Brewers yeast for a couple months. It's used up by the body pretty quick, and what's not needed goes out the kidneys.

Thanks - I'll just keep it up for everyone then. Really apprecaite your advice. Sincerely -Patsy
Look forward to hearing she is running with her sibs real soon.
