I lost one of my girls last night. We found her this morning in the coop and headless. I think the predator took a few eggs as well. My guess is that it was a racoon, but a neighbor said that they saw something black by my yard last night. Needless to say, I'll set a trap tonight and make sure that the coop is secure. I'm so upset, that I may invest in a pellet gun as well.
